Chicagoist posts about burgoo!  I made it once for my Derby party (a meat version and a veggie version), and it was fantastic.  They are right that the Southern’s version doesn’t really look anything like it, but it looks really good. Plus, I love that like five Kentucky/Indiana people came out of the woodwork.  Yay for Kentuckiana ex-pats!
