(one diagnosis of obesity) + (one stern warning that my partner is sleeping around on me and probably giving me all the STDs, obviously) + (one inhaler not covered by insurance and the conclusion that no inhalers are covered by my insurance so I guess just don’t exercise or spend $60+ a month on top of everything else)  = the feeling of utter powerlessness in the face of the accepted...
